Winch maintenance made easy and simplified
No special tools are required for winch maintenance. Hutton winches can be dismantled and reassembled in minutes. Everything can be done from the upper deck and you don't need another person with you.
Strong and resistant winches
designed for sailors
Resistant materials to breakage, wear and deformation
The gear crown of the headstock is machined directly from the bronze. The gears are made of high strength aluminum bronze alloy. They are 2 to 3 times more resistant to breakage and 2 times more rigid than aluminum or stainless steel. Hutton winches are therefore less subject to deformation. This avoids performance losses.
Hutton winches are resistant to corrosion
Hutton winches are designed to last. Plastic is avoided for better longevity.The central axis of the winches is made in a single piece of 303 stainless steel.
