No special tools are required for winch maintenance. Hutton winches can be dismantled and reassembled in minutes. Everything can be done from the upper deck and you don't need another person with you.
Strong and resistant winches

The gear crown of the headstock is machined directly from the bronze. The gears are made of high strength aluminum bronze alloy. They are 2 to 3 times more resistant to breakage and 2 times more rigid than aluminum or stainless steel. Hutton winches are therefore less subject to deformation. This avoids performance losses.
